Although the University began as an institution with an exclusively scientific and technological orientation, the last 10 years have seen an expansion into the humanities which is now being further confirmed by the newly created Department of Greek Literature. All the existing departments offer graduate and undergraduate degrees of the highest academic standards in an active environment of scientific research, supported by a wide variety of national and international collaborative research projects.
